Four six-week blocks run between September and April.
Ages 9–16
Our Girls Academy provides high-quality, two-hour sessions for girls playing hardball cricket. Several players from last year’s Academy progressed into West Yorkshire squads. Through detailed individual coaching and ability-matched group practice, players can develop every area of their game in a positive and ambitious environment.
Sessions are led by Mark Lawson, George Sommerville and Ellie Nightingale.
What you’ll work on
- Technical batting development against seam and spin
- Front-foot and back-foot play, improving both attack and defence
- Bowling biomechanics, video analysis, stronger actions and variations
- High-intensity fielding, fitness and high-volume practice
- Match scenarios, tactical awareness and performing under pressure
- Individual wicketkeeping practice and wicketkeeping in nets
